CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart are cutting pharmacy hours and closing some locations earlier due to staffing shortages. The companies say they will scale back hours at their pharmacies as the industry battles a shortage of pharmacists and other key positions, starting in March.
CVS is adjusting hours at about two-thirds of its retail pharmacies according to the USA Today. Walmart is planning to reduce pharmacy hours by closing at 7 p.m. They used to close at 9. The changes will come to most of its stores in the coming weeks.
