The 2023 Pride Awards is having a Day Ball celebrating a longstanding commitment to highlighting great people in our community. Pride Communications is not just a publication with an online presence, they enlighten, engage and entertain diverse communities across Charlotte, North Carolina. You must meet Dee Dixon, the CEO of Pride Communications/Pride Magazine who has given us thirty years of excellence. When Dee Dixon purchased the magazine in 2001 from the Charlotte Observer, it was just what the African American community needed. Grab a ticket and celebrate with us on February 24th for the Pride Inspiration Awards.

Inspiration Pride Awards will present three awards in three categories which include:

Inspiration Award – Given to a worthy nonprofit
Pride Innovation Award – Given to an outstanding tech business owner or leader
Pride “Techie” Award – Given to outstanding youth in the field of technology
This year’s monetary donation will be made to the nonprofit recipient. They will also highlight how major sponsors have used innovative thinking to foster change within their organizations or within the communities they serve. Here are a few details about the award ceremony:
