Weekdays 6:00AM-9:00AM

ATLANTA, GA - JULY 11: Actress Jada Pinkett Smith at "Girls Trip" Atlanta special screening at SCADshow on July 11, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia.

A sequel to the comedy “Girls Trip” is officially in the works! Co-writer of the 2017 hit comedy Tracy Oliver recently confirmed that, while there isn’t much information to share, she is aiming to set the new girls’ new destination in Ghana. When pressed for a more specific timeline, Oliver hesitated before adding “(the script) is definitely due.”

But that’s not all Oliver revealed: the writer confirmed: “everyone’s coming back.” This means we can look forward to a reunion of OG castmates Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall and breakout star Tiffany Haddish.

The first film cost only $16 million… but raked in $140 million around the globe and launched Haddish into the A-list.
