Who doesn't love Costco? WSOC is reporting a new Costco is close to coming to Indian Land South Carolina. The developer is planning a Costco near Highway 521 between Possum Hollow Road and Sandal Brook Road on an open 28-acre lot.
Plans show a 156,000-square-foot store and a Costco gas station with 24 pumps.
The store could bring up to 10,000 more cars to the area, so a new road infrastructure would be needed. There are plans to add traffic lights for the development. It will likely be a year or two before construction starts. This will be Costco’s fourth location in the Charlotte area.
This location will be closer to me in Waxhaw than the Mathews one. Now I can get a blow-up hot tub and hot dog a lot closer hahaha!
