This Jonas Brother Was Almost Spider-Man

It's hard to imagine a world where Toby McGuire, Andrew Garfield, or Tom Holland doesn't play Spider-Man, but the role almost went to a Jonas brother.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Joe Jonas isn't a stranger to acting. The singer is one of the stars of the new war film, Devotion, coming out. And who could forget Camp Rock? But did you know that he almost played Spider-Man? I sure didn't.

While on an episode of the podcast, Just for Variety, Joe opened up about how he lost out on the role to Andrew Garfield.

"In the moment, you're destroyed or you're defeated. But you realize this person was brilliant," Jonas said of not being cast after auditioning. "I remember years ago I was up for Spider-Man and I was so, so excited and it was the year Andrew Garfield got it. Obviously, he was the right one."

I have to admit, it is definitely hard for me to imagine that movie with Joe Jonas playing Spider-Man. I'm sure the role was a huge loss at the time, but it seems like all parties involved ended our JUST fine.
