SAN ANSELMO, CA – JANUARY 03: Powerball and Mega Millions lottery tickets are displayed on January 3, 2018 in San Anselmo, California. The Powerball jackpot and Mega Millions jackpots are both over $400 million at the same time for the first time. The Mega Millions $418 million jackpot would be the fourth largest and the $460 million Powerball jackpot would be the seventh largest in the game’s history. (Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images)
With all the Powerball craziness happening, you're thinking "There's no way to win this!" Think again. A man won his second $700k in 13 months UPI reports. The Canadian man won $700-thousand in the lottery a little over a year after winning a jackpot of the same amount. Last summer, Antoine Beaini of Milton, Ontario, got lucky and won $1-million Canadian Dollars (over $730-thousand USD) from the Ontario Lottery’s Lotto Max game. He’d been playing the lotto for nearly 40 years, played the same exact numbers for over a year before his big win and his persistence finally paid off.
Beaini, a public servant, bought himself a new car and took his family on a vacation, but he didn’t stop playing the lottery. And then last month, only 13 months since he hit it big, he scored again, winning another $1-million Canadian! "I couldn't believe it. I thought 'Again?'" Beaini recalls. "It was more shocking than the first win. I told my wife, and she was very happy!"
This time, Beaini says the money is all about his family. "I want to make sure the next generation of my family is set up comfortably," he says. My guess is he’s not going to stop playing the lottery, though. So this might not be the last we hear of Antoine Beaini.
If a man won his second $700k in 13 months... You have a chance!
