Did you know every glass of tap water you drink has already been drunk by 10 people before you! What the what!? This means it’s been 'recycled' by another creature. Paul Frijters wrote a piece at Economics.com.au. It shows the math used to figure out how many people your refreshing drink has passed through over the years.

It’s not a surprise; the water we have now is the same water that’s been on the planet since the beginning. Now Paul says that 10 is a low estimate; his math suggests the real number is closer to 25. Of course, he says at least 10 of those times it was ‘recycled’ by a fish. Ewww gross!

Speaking of water, did you know according to a new study, if you want to be living your best life, all it takes is pulling a cup out of your cabinet and drinking more high-quality H2O.

The survey from the folks at Bosch Home Appliances (of course it’s an appliance company) has found that people who maintain proper hydration tend to be happier, more successful, and more energetic. Folks that drink at least six glasses of water daily are most likely to agree with the statement, “I’m very happy” while only 12% of people who drink less than one glass of water a day can say the same.

And it may be your lack of water that’s making you go hard with the caffeine boosts throughout the day. People who drink six or more cups of water daily only wake up feeling tired 2.59 times per week. On the other hand, their parched counterparts wake up feeling exhausted 3.14 times a week and are more likely to show up late for work. Who knew we were all six glasses of water away from being fired?
