The annual festival stems from a mysterious crash northwest of Roswell in 1947. The Army initially said it was a UFO crash, but quickly backed off that report. The Pentagon has since said it was a top-secret balloon crash, but UFO enthusiasts don”t believe that story, which gives rise to what has become known as the “Roswell Incident”. A new classified report says only half of UFO sightings can be explained. The report lists more than 150 cases of unexplained UFO encounters in the last year. The report was compiled by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. It analyzed 366 cases, which means that just under half of the cases it looks at can’t be explained by the agency.
Among the explained cases are ‘brand new surveillance objects by foreign adversaries.’ Including Chinese spy drones. The classified report will be released annually as part of the National Defense Act.
