There's a new List out, the rattiest city in America! Anyone who’s lived or visited New York has likely seen a few (or more than a few) rats running around the streets or in the subways. But believe it or not, the Big Apple isn’t the worst city in America when it comes to vermin! So how do figure out the rattiest city in America?
- Pest control company Orkin has just come out with their annual list of the 'Top 50 Rattiest Cities' and one big city still rivals New York...and that’s Chicago.
- Believe it or not, this is the eighth consecutive year the Windy City has ranked first when it comes to rats.
- New York has jumped up the list though, moving up one spot to two this year.
- The company determined its list based on the number of rodent treatments they handled between September 2021 and September 2022.
- New to the Top 20 this year in Hartford, Connecticut at 19 and Miami at 20.
