Check Out the First Teaser For “A Christmas Story” Sequel

Almost 40 years later, we're getting a sequel to one of the greatest movies of the 80s. No, not "Top Gun" - that's been done. We're talking about "A Christmas Story", the tale of Ralphie and his family, bullies, Red Ryder BB guns, and Little Orphan Annie decoder pins. Peter Billingsley returns as Ralphie - and the teaser trailer is out now.  "A Christmas Story Christmas" drops on HBO Max on November 17.

If you ask people the best place to spend the holidays you'll most likely get varying answers. Many people would say 'home' wherever that is for them. Some people love going where they can have a white Christmas and others want to escape the cold at a more tropical resort-type destination. WalletHub conducted a survey to determine the best places to spend the holidays in the US.

In order to determine this WalletHub compared the 100 biggest U.S. cities based on 32 key indicators representing a safe and affordable Christmas. These included the availability of Christmas traditions, the percentage of residents who are fully vaccinated, the city’s overall generosity, shopping, and more.

One North Carolina city did make the list of the best places to spend the holidays. Well, technically 4 since they fell in the 100 largest cities. But below is the top 20 cities. Take a look and let us know if you agree!

The only NC City to crack the top 20 was Raleigh coming in at number 14. Charlotte was number 43, Durham number 54, and Greensboro number 69.

Miami makes it this high on the list as they have the most Christmas Tree farms (per square root of population). Who would have guessed?

LA makes the list as one of the best places to Christmas shop. No surprise there! It has the most toy stores (per square root of the population) on any city.

Representing the Pacific Northwest Seattle has the most food banks (per square root of population).

It wasn't the theme parks that ranked Orlando number two on this list. Instead, it was that Orlando, Florida, has the most gift shops (per square root of the population).
