People Are Discovering What The “M’s” Mean In M&Ms
Millions of people love M&Ms, but apparently, no one knew what the “M’s” stood for. Forrest Mars thought of the idea for the candy in the 1930s and partnered with Bruce Murrie, the son of Hershey’s Chocolate’s president William F.R. Murrie, to develop the snack, which was finally launched in 1941 with their initials as the name.
While everyone knows what they are, the people of Reddit were amazed to find this out. One said, “D*mn, learn something new every day,” while another said, “This is actually some info I haven’t seen before. Bravo.” M&Ms are sold in over 100 countries.
