Morning Routines

The start of your day can set the tone for the entire day. There are things you can do to help you energize, de-stress and have you starting the day on the right foot. These AM hacks will help you have the best morning ever, leading you to the best day ever.

  • Prep the night before. You don’t have to get everything done, but basic cleaning up and putting out your clothes/packing your bag for the next day can help you do less scrambling in the morning.
  • Don’t skip breakfast. It really is the most important meal of the day.
  • Create a plan for the day. A to-do list is daunting but organizing everything will make your day much more manageable.
  • Make your bed. It really can boost your day. Just think of how happy coming back to a tidy room will make you.
  • Get moving early. Working out in the AM has all sorts of benefits for the rest of your day like more alertness, better focus, and an overall better mood.
  • No electronics in bed. Seriously, checking your phone first thing in the morning will likely stress you out.
  • Create a routine that words. Whether it’s coffee, meditation, a morning run, or a skin-care routine, you know what your body needs best, so make a routine out of it.

I want to be one of those people who makes their bed every day…maybe one day!
