Come on now.  This report is just too hard to believe.  A very credible news agency is reporting there have been two bigfoot sightings in South Carolina this year and one of them is, you guessed it, in the town where I live.

That’s right!  One of the sightings of a “bigfoot” is in Clover, South Carolina.  This is according to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization and reported by Channel 9 in Charlotte.  A Professional forester reportedly heard a knocking sound and smelled a strange smell.  He also reports a large area that had been compressed in the ground as if “something large had been sleeping there”.  This reportedly happened around July 5th. I’m thinking, bear.  They too are large and leave a smell.  But, of course, I am no expert.

Then on August second there was another Bigfoot sighting on the South Carolina coast at Hunting Island State Park.  There are several eyewitness accounts of seeing the creature during the day.  For more information get the story here from Channel 9.

Now look, I love a good wildlife sighting as much as the next person but I am having trouble wrapping my head around this one. If several people have seen this mythical creature, wouldn’t there be credible photos by now. No way Biggie can escape social media these days.  It is fun to think about.  I have a group of friends that have been part of my life for over twenty years and we plan on going to the Bigfoot festival in Marion in May.  We are ALL in with the myth. Just not even a little bit sure it’s a reality.
