As part of W Magazine's third annual TV portfolio published today (August 16), Elle Fanning dressed as Paris Hilton circa The Simple Life.

The Great star joined other 2022 Emmy nominees in the feature, who all honored their favorite television characters by channeling their looks. Fanning donned a hot pink Von Dutch trucker hat and pooch, wearing a pink velour bikini top, white pumps and camo overalls.

The 24-year-old actress said her older sister Dakota Fanning introduced her to the reality TV series and that they would "act out the scenes."

"I would normally be Nicole Richie and she would be Paris," said Elle. "We would say 'That's hot' and 'Loves it.' Finally, I get to dress up as Paris and have the dog, because Dakota always had the chihuahua."

"Every two years or so, I'll watch the show again," she said of her undying love of the 2003 reality show. "I love Nicole Richie. I love Paris Hilton. I've gotten to meet Paris a couple times, and she is the nicest and coolest. It was so fascinating hearing in Paris's documentary how she put on this persona for the reality show. It's quite clever."

Elle shared photos of herself as Paris to Instagram, captioning the post, "Chose to dress as THE ICONIC @parishilton in The Simple Life for W’s TV portfolio #LovesIt"

The feature also includes some of the year's biggest TV stars such as Jessica Biel as Don Draper from Mad Men, Sienna Miller as Patsy Stone from Absolutely Fabulous, Natasha Lyonne as Afton Cooper from Dallas, Sadie Sink as Elaine Benes in Seinfeld, Adam Scott as Sam Malone in Cheers, Zazie Beetz as Fleabag from Fleabag, Quincy Isaiah as Ted Lasso from Ted Lasso, Madelyn Cline as Peggy from Mad Men and HoYeon Jung as Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.

The 74th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on Monday, September 12, with the location and host yet to be announced. The Emmys will recognize the best in American primetime programming airing between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022.

The ceremony will broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and will stream live on Peacock -- a first for the Emmys.
