For me, a scenic drive is always a good idea. There is no doubt that it is one of the most popular and beautiful parkways in America. There are 252 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, and it travels through mountain towns, historic sites, and tunnels through 26 hills and mountains. The park is the second-most visited among all National Park Services and is regarded as a must-see during autumn. In addition to the two-plus-hour drive west, it’s another two hours to the Smoky Mountains and Cherokee region.

The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) just released its Global Liveability Index ranking of the Best Places to Live In The World. The list scored 172 cities in five categories:
- Culture
- Health care
- Education
- Infrastructure
- Entertainment
Cities in Scandinavia dominate the list, although 18 countries are represented. Topping the list of the Best City in the World to Live in is Vienna, Austria, which earns an overall ranking of 95.1 out of 100. Vienna previously topped the list in 2018 and 2019. It earns a score of 100 for Infrastructure and Education and lands particularly high (98.6) for Culture.
No U.S. city made the Top 10, with the highest ranking U.S. city being Atlanta, Georgia at 26, followed by Washington, DC at 30.

As for the worst places to live in the world, that would be Damascus, Syria, followed by Lagos, Nigeria.
