SAN RAFAEL, CA - JULY 25: Cans of Coca Cola are displayed on July 25, 2018 in San Rafael, California. Coca Cola announced plans to raise soda prices in North America due to rising prices of metals following tariffs imposed on Chinese imports by the Trump administration.

Love the taste of Coca-Cola but trying to avoid drinking all of that soda? You’ve stubbled across the right page!

A viral drink trend has starting popping up on Tik Tok and other apps, where people add Balsamic Vinaigrette, and soda water together. Some people say it is the closest thing you can get to “healthy coke.” Other’s don’t agree… and doctors are setting the record straight about whether or not it’s even healthy at all.

Tik Tok user @mandyvjones is the first person I saw make the drink.

Supposedly the drink tastes just like a coke. I guess you can’t knock it until you try it, but I have a hard time believing it! Lots of food bloggers and tasters have tried the drink themselves and many have said they think the drink tastes like coke too.

Here’s the problem…

Some doctors, and dentists are warning people that the “healthy coke” might not be all so healthy. According to Fox News, who interviewed a few dentists, lots of vinegar on the teeth can be very bad for them. They have a lot of acetic acid, which in lots of volume, and use can cause cavities.

According to Fox News, vinegar can also cause some stomach issues as well.

So it sounds like it may be worth it to try it if you’re curious, but much like soda, you don’t want to drink a TON of it.
