WOW! Maney and I had no idea that Carowinds use to be movie themed! Maney and I both moved to Charlotte in 2012, so we didn’t grow up going to Carowinds like our radio audience did! Sure we knew some of the history, ie, that the theme park used to be owned by Paramount, but the details? We had no idea!
One of our favorite listeners, Rocky, called in to fill us in on everything from the original Top Gun ride to the Nickolodeon section of the park! Maney’s mind was blown to find out that there was a Waynes World section of rides as well.
