Spoilers are ahead! If you’re all caught up on Stranger Things then you know there are so many HUGE moments in volume 2 of Stranger Things 4. Joseph Quinn plays Eddie and I had a feeling that he was going to have a defining moment in the series. When he came on the scene in Volume 1 he was definitely the outcast of Hawkins High School, as well as the second year senior that hadn’t graduated yet. As his character developed you could just tell he had a side to him that just wanted to be apart of something bigger than being the President of The Hellfire Club.
Fast forward to Chrissy becoming possessed by Vecna and dying in his trailer. Eddie’s part of it now and eventually finds himself preparing for battle with Dustin in the Upside Down. Eddie literally came to play! Some might consider this moment one of the most heroic moments of Stranger Things as he stood strong and wailed the guitar part of Metallica’s, Master of Puppets. Even though the rock band’s song was playing during that scene, Joseph Quinn had to learn the entire song. This gave the viewer the visual of Eddie nailing every single note. Watch him practicing for the scene below! The song is in the background but he is REALLY playing.
