CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - APRIL 27: The practice facility of the Charlotte Hornets is seen during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on April 27, 2020 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Charlotte Hornets are looking to expand their footprint in the city. They’ve asked the city council to help fund a new training facility uptown near the Spectrum Center. The council is also looking to make uptown more of an entertainment destination. So what will the new Hornets Entertainment Center look like?

The idea would be to make Brevard St. into a social area. You would be able to drink on the street and enjoy live music, and food as well. There would be Hornets watch parties during home and away games.

The new practice facility as I told you last week, would be right across from the Spectrum Center.  The facility would be where the current transit center sits.
