OkCupid’s New Feature Shows Who You’re Compatible With Right Now

OkCupid's new feature can help those of you who may be getting bored with dating apps. All that swiping can do that to you after a while, so the apps are always trying new things to keep singles coming back for more. OkCupid has added a new feature to show users who they’re compatible with right now.

It is called Cupid's Picks, and it reveals who users are more likely to match with every day. Cupid’s Picks are people chosen just for you that you’re especially compatible with and have a higher chance of matching with, too. Jane Reynolds, director of product marketing at OkCupid, explains that the new feature offers “a highly customized experience where you can connect with matches picked just for you that very day.”

Here's how it works:

OkCupid shows users the "Cupid's Picks" daily list of users with whom they'll have a higher chance of matching based on profile questions. There's a time element added into this in which the picks are refreshed every day as new people join the app or answer more questions on the platform. To like someone in Cupid's Picks, you have to "SuperLike" them. There is no pass or like buttons for these. If you want to connect with one of the Cupid's Picks, you SuperLike them, and if you don't, you can just move on to the next profile in Cupid's Picks.
