CHICAGO - JULY 22: Jalapeno peppers sit on a cutting block July 22, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois. Mexican-grown Jalapeno peppers are now suspected to be responsible for a nationwide salmonella outbreak once thought to be caused from tomatoes that has sickened thousands and killed two people since April. With the right meal, I’ll try any pepper.  Banana peppers are my absolute favorite and I’ll put them on anything.  My straight pepper level tops out at a jalapeno.  Every time I eat them I usually get the hiccups and my eyes water rom the heat.  The next level would be a jalapeno and I can hardly handle it.  I usually get the hiccups but I definitely get the watery eyes from the heat.  This guy, however, is stone cold when it comes eating peppers.  In fact, he set a Guinness World Record recently for eating THREE Carolina Reapers in 8.72 seconds.  It’s the hottest pepper in the world and he put them down like the champ he is.  Check it out below!
