Martha Stewart praised her friend Pete Davidson with a throwback video on Instagram over the weekend after the pair met again at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

The 80-year-old businesswoman and TV personality first met Davidson, 28, in 2015 at the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber and she shared a clip of Davidson teasing her ahead of the roast: "I'm Pete, and I'm very excited to do this roast with Martha because she's adorable and doesn't know she's gonna get abused." Martha accompanied the throwback video with the caption: “Seven years ago I was on the stage with a young upstart named Pete who was doing comedy on Saturday Night Live. Now that same Pete is all grown up, squiring gorgeous women around and appearing everywhere!"

Stewart also posted a photo of her posing with Davidson and girlfriend Kim Kardashian at the White House event this Saturday (April 30), marking the couple’s first red carpet appearance since they began dating last October. The pair have attended events like the Hulu premiere of The Kardashians together, but this is the first time they have been officially photographed as a couple.

Kim, 41, also posted a set of photos of herself and Davidson at the event, with the last photograph being one of their hands intertwined. She captioned the photo series: “White House din din.”

Pete Davidson is the first man Kim Kardashian has been linked to romantically since her split from Kanye West, so obviously fans have been pitting the two men against each other.

We already know that Kanye isn't happy with his estranged wife's new boyfriend, begging for her to come back on . Per Buzzfeed, he even told Kim that her PDA with Pete “doesn’t look good” in the “eyes of God” back in November.

One fan siding with Kanye, approached Kim on Saturday (December 18) while she was out in Staten Island enjoying a movie date with Pete. A video of the encounter made its way to Twitter, showing the fan directly telling Kim, “Yo Kim, Kanye’s way better, I’m not even gon’ hold you.” As shown in the clip below, Kim appeared to ignore the fan and walked straight past, remaining silent.

This all comes just a week after Kim submitted a formal request to be declared legally single. In it, she stated that “no counseling or reconciliation effort” could fix her and Kanye’s marriage. In the appeal, which was filed on December 10, Kim alleged that Kanye has not responded to multiple requests to “terminate” the legal relationship.
