Are you ready to own a piece of Charlotte's history? The Epicentre will be u for grabs in May by way of auction.

According to Queen City News, a judge signed off on the foreclosure and the auction will happen on May 12th. I am curious as to what the starting bid will be. I remember going to the Epicentre every year during the tournament weekend. Beasley Media Group had a studio there and we would broadcast live from there. It was always fun to see all of the celebrities walk by. Oftentimes, they would stop through even if they weren't scheduled to be there for an interview. We were in the heart of everything.

From the great restaurants to the movies, to those last-minute CVS runs, Charlotteans have many memories of the Epicentre. I even remember "Live After Five". People were everywhere. The real question now is, what will the new owners do? The location will be sold as-is. According to Queen City News, only about 1/3 of the businesses are occupied. What would like to see in this location?
