During his monologue Tuesday night, Jimmy Kimmel called Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene a "Klan mom," saying that she was "especially upset" at other Republicans who votes to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson. Kimmel then joked, “Wow, where is Will Smith when you really need him?” clearly referring to the now infamous slap.

Well, Rep. Greene took notice and said that she reported Kimmel to Capitol Police. She tweeted, writing, “ABC, this threat of violence against me by @jimmykimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice,” she tweeted. Naturally, Kimmel also fired back on Twitter, writing, “Officer? I would like to report a joke.”

It didn't end there. Rep. Greene then quote tweeted Kimmel writing, that he wasn't joking. She also went on to say, "You hide your misogyny and your racism behind your “jokes” on @ABC. This was a dog whistle to the violent left to assault me or worse, and your already inspiring fantasies of violence against me. How many new death threats will I get that are your fans?" Kimmel then quote tweeted that, writing, "The only fantasies you inspire are of silence. Maybe you should report this to Animal Control?"

Rep. Matt Gaetz also got in on the conversation, tweeting "NOTE to @JimmyKimmel: Not only would Marjorie Taylor Greene's husband make quick work of you, but @RepMTG herself would make quick work of you!" Which isn't what Rep. Gaetz did was just as bad as what Kimmel did? Seems like all sides have double standards and just have bruised ego.
