Will Smith may have started a trend. Not a good one either...A teen tennis player slapped his opponent after the match. Seconds after 15-year-old Michael Kouame lost a tilt to 16-year-old Raphael Nii Ankrah at an ITF juniors tournament in Ghana...he slapped him.
The ITF has suspended him from the tour.

Two sports organizations in North Carolina are receiving a big donation this weekend. Academy Sports + Outdoors is proud to team up with Winston-Salem State University and Johnson C Smith University to provide $5,000 in gift cards to two local North Carolina athletic organizations. This will occur on October 9th, 20121 during half-time.
Each organization will be able to use the Academy gift card to shop the store for gear and equipment. This can include racquets, tennis balls, golf balls, nets, apparel, and more. At halftime on Saturday’s game, WSSU will present Tennis for Life Academy (TLA) with a $2,500 gift card.
TLA provides accessibility to tennis for players of all ages and levels in the greater Winston-Salem area. JCS will present A Perfect Swing Foundation with a $2,500 gift card. A Perfect Swing introduces youth to the game of golf while providing workshops and events to enhance their leadership, communication, and networking skills.
The partnership between Academy Sports + Outdoors and CIAA focuses on establishing meaningful community initiatives within the CIAA footprint. Specifically, these initiatives look to activate and amplify grassroots efforts, such as youth outreach and mentoring programs, that are inclusive of student-athletes and administrators from across the conference.
