Starbucks NYC Store Unionizes

A major Starbucks store in Manhattan is the company's first flagship store to unionize in the nation.

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery near Chelsea market voted to join Starbucks Workers United on Friday and is the 9th to do so. The yes vote came just hours after workers at an Amazon warehouse in Staten Island moved to unionize.

What are your thoughts on unionization? I've never been in a union, but the idea that someone is fighting for fair pay and rights seems like a good idea to me.
