The weather will be good this weekend, but everyone is going to be talking about the huge Carolina basketball rivalry showoff on Saturday night. As you can imagine, there will be tons of basketball events going on, but that’s not the only thing going on this weekend.

Here’s my top picks of events that are going on in Charlotte this weekend.

 

FRIDAY

Yoga

  • Rosies Wine Garden NoDa
  • Start your Friday with a vinyasa flow in the garden streamed through noise-canceling headphones.

April pools weekend

  • Skiptown
  • Bring your doggo to splash around in kiddie pools, run through sprinklers, and nose-boop bubbles.

U-Cut Tulips at Howard Family Farm

  • Make a day trip to the farm this season to pick out your own bouquet of fresh tulips. Each stem is $1.25, or $2 if you dig up the bulb. Pre-cut tulips are $15 for a dozen and $8 for a half dozen.

  • This traveling exhibit tells the stories of the Black architects and builders who designed many of North Carolina’s historic sites.

  • This interactive, multi-week art festival will have attractions like a miniature golf course, giant see-saws and giant Easter eggs.
