Weird: Woman Keeps Getting Unwanted Shoes From UPS
Unwanted shoes are showing up at an Illinois woman’s doorstep.
UPI reports that a resident of Oak Park, about 10 miles west of Chicago, has been receiving shoes via UPS for about a year and did not order them. She noted around 15 to 20 pairs have arrived and called the footwear “really, really, really tacky.”
Both UPS and Amazon have been contacted by the woman regarding the issue, with both companies saying they’re addressing the matter. It turns out UPS officials said the shoes are supposed to be returned to an Amazon vendor out of China, and the vendor’s return label bears the words “Simone” and an address on Elm Street in Chicago. Somehow it got changed to her address.
