Kelly Clarkson Puts On Her 'Don't Mess With Texas Face'

Kelly Clarkson's new show American Song Contest premieres tonight (3/21) on NBC, and Kelly is ready for the showdown along with co-host Snoop Dogg, which will pit state against state in who has the better songs.

The native Texan posted to Instagram on Sunday (3/20) along with a photo of herself, "This is my 'Don't mess with Texas' face! Can't wait to see what my home state will bring to @AmericanSongContest this season. Don't miss it LIVE tomorrow night at 8/7c on @NBC."

"American Song Contest" airs tonight (3/21) at 8 pm ET on NBC. NBC describes the show: "Artists from all 50 states, five U.S. territories, and the nation's capital perform original songs across different genres as they compete for America's votes in an eight-week live event that will crown one grand prize winner."
