Well talk about a real life War of the Roses! A baker busted a cheater! A pastry chef says she accidentally revealed her customer’s affair with his wife’s best friend.
In a video posted anonymously to TikTok and shared by Wanderlust Sweets, the baker explains that it all started when the man’s wife contacted her on Facebook to find out what her husband had purchased. “I would hate to be put in this position,” Wanderlust Sweets captioned the clip.
The baker says the customer’s wife sent her a message because she was curious about what her husband was spending money on after seeing the charge on their credit card bill. “I hope I’m not ruining any surprise,” the baker replied, “but I have a treat business and am selling gift boxes for Valentine’s Day.” That seemed to satisfy the wife, who responded by saying, “I feel so silly, he’s been acting off and I assumed the worst.”
But the situation wasn’t over yet. Several days passed and the wife sent the pastry chef another message saying she only received flowers for Valentine’s Day, so she wanted to know exactly what her husband had ordered.

- The story gets even crazier at this point … when the husband contacts the baker with a furious message.
- He claims it was a “breach of contract” for telling his wife what he bought and advises the baker to “tell her it was a mistake or I will sue you for slander.”
- But instead of getting upset, the baker simply replied, “No, we had no contract. Maybe just don’t cheat.”
