Scott Hall, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer and WCW wrestler, has died. He was 63.

Hall’s death was confirmed in a statement from WWE who shared via social media, “WWE is saddened to learn that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Hall’s family, friends and fans.”

As previously reported, Hall underwent hip replacement surgery last week and then had three heart attacks on March 12 due to a blood clot that occurred following the hip surgery. He was shortly put on life support thereafter. Dave Meltzer would report, which would then be confirmed by Sean Waltman, that Hall was taken off life support today (March 14.)

Hall’s wrestling career spans multiple decades. He first broke through in the then WWF in 1992 as Razor Ramon, a character heavily inspired by Tony Montana from the 1983 film Scarface. Hall, along with Kevin Nash, would become two of the most important forces in “The Monday Night War” when they jumped from WWF to rival wrestling promotion WCW. Hall and Nash would soon after form the iconic stable the New World Order (nWo) with Hulk Hogan.

Hall would exit WCW in 2000 and have a short stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling before returning to the WWF in February 2002. His stint with WWF would also be short and resulted in him leaving for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling later that year where he would stay until 2008. After multiple brief stints in other promotions, he would land back at the now WWE where he was inducted twice into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 as his Razor Ramon character and then in 2020 as a member of the nWo.
