Are Teens Still Going To College?

As of January 2022 fewer than 1 million fewer students were enrolled in college. Colleges in the United States saw a drop of nearly 500,000 undergraduate students in the fall of 2021. It's hard to say goodbye to our teens when we drop them off at college. When my kids went off to school I danced in joy, but held their baby pictures in my hands. The best states for college students living off campus is claimed to be Virginia coming in before North Carolina.

Coming in at nine out of ten is West Virginia because the typical on-campus room and fees range from $9,700 and up. As a sophomore my kid rented from a landlord and figured out how to include groceries for meals. Drumroll for 10th place being North Carolina!!!! North Carolina colleges are so good that many residents can't get in easily. Lastly, college tuition isn't a joke so be wise with your choices.
