Unfortunately, there’s no such thing as a “miracle cure”. Dietitian Jennifer Maeng explained to “CNET” that the best hangover treatment is prevention. Here are some of her tips for beating a hangover, before, during, and after you drink.
Anti-hangover drinks. These drinks claim they can help you cure or prevent a hangover if you drink them before, during and/or after drinking alcohol. Dietitians warn that more studies need to be done on these drinks but if they contain electrolytes and vitamins, they can be helpful.
Don’t drink on an empty stomach. Have a high-protein and fat snack like nuts beforehand.
Double-fist it. For one alcoholic drink, drink one glass of water.
Make better alcohol choices. Choose hard alcohol (that’s lighter colored) such as vodka [or] tequila with seltzer rather than straight up.
Take vitamins. Key nutrients can be depleted when you drink making you feel awful the next day. Take a B-complex with C (look for B1, B6 and B12)
Stay away from coffee or caffeinated tea during your hungover. and Avoid greasy food and choose whole foods the next day.
Hmmm idk about that last one... because nothing cures a hangover like fast food!
