Brush Strokes & High Notes is a  FREE art and music event happening February 18th from 6pm to 10pm.  there’s an event happening in Charlotte, North Carolina called Brush Strokes & High Notes. This event will be at Studio 229 on Brevard located at 229 South Brevard Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. Every 4 months the Gallery at the Brooklyn Collective debuts a new exhibit. Brooklyn Collective is special because it’s located in one of the remaining buildings of the neighborhood of Brooklyn. This neighbor hood was formally the “Black Wall-Street” of Charlotte in the early 1900’s. RSVP for this free event.

This will be a nice time to visit the historic buildings because it’s their 100th year anniversary of the Mecklenberg Investment Company Building. The exhibit is entitled “Still Standing” and the Featured Artist. Charles Edward Williams has pieces of art throughout the Brooklyn Collective. Also featuring Lamont Joseph White, Lanecia Rouse Tinsley, Tahsine Al Hassan, Pierre Jean Baptiste, Taha Clayton, and Charlie Palmer. Mr. Palmers art is a part of the “Brooklyn Collective’s private display. RSVP for this free event.
