Ed Sheeran attends The BRIT Awards 2022 at The O2 Arena on February 08, 2022 in London, England. Taylor Swift attends the "All Too Well" New York Premiere on November 12, 2021 in New York City.

The Swifties and Sheerios were right! Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran’s collaboration for “The Joker and The Queen” has been confirmed by Sheeran himself in the wee hours today (February 9).

Posting a snippet of the song on Instagram with a rotating card featuring a joker and a queen, Sheeran, 30, revealed the song would be released this Friday, February 11. He wrote, “The Joker And The Queen featuring my good friend @taylorswift is out this Friday. Link in bio to pre-order or pre-save it x”

As the clip plays, you hear Swift sing, “And I know, you think that what makes a king is gold / A palace and diamond rings when I fold,” with Sheeran joining her singing, “You see the best in me, the joker and the queen.”

One fan wrote, “this actually make me feel like crying, taylor swift voice is just wow plus ed sheeran voice omo 😭🥺”

Another fan excitedly commented, “THE BESTIES R BACK,” while another said, “Everybody act shocked quick.”

As we previously reported, fans did some super sleuthing after Sheeran cryptically teased last week that Swift would be involved in a remix of “The Joker and the Queen.”
