People all over are mourning the loss of Cheslie Kryst.  It is being reported that the 2019 Miss USA and former Ms. North Carolina died from an apparent suicide.  According to sources, the 30-year-old jumped from a floor in her New York City apartment.  It is also being reported that she left a note behind stating that she was leaving all of her belongings to her mother.

In addition to her many awards in the world of pageantry, Kryst was also an attorney and a correspondent for Extra.  She used her platform to speak out about criminal justice reform.  In June of 2019, Cheslie and her mother, April, stopped by our sister stations Morning Maddhouse to discuss her new title of Miss USA.  She was an amazing young lady that was beautiful inside and out.  She will be missed. RIP Cheslie.
