I know I don’t have to tell you that a break-up can be the absolute WORST! But what if you could cash out because of it? Finance Buzz wants to choose one lucky person to be their DJ of Heartache.
Did you know that most break-ups happen in March? That’s kinda sad to think about since Valentine’s Day is only a few weeks before that. I guess everyone wants to stay cuffed for V-Day.
But, you know how after a break-up, all you want to do is curl up on the couch, devour your favorite ice cream, and listen to all the songs that match your feelings. Break-up songs are lifesavers, and they make up a biiiiig portion of music, if you think about it.
Finance Buzz wants to pay someone to simply listen to these songs. This person will receive $1,100 to listen to break-up songs for 24 hours. While listening, your task is to sort the songs into 5 playlists based on what phase of grief they fall under. These 5 phases?
- Denial
- Anger
- Relapse
- Depression
- Acceptance
The chosen DJ of Heartache must be 18 years or older and must be a U.S. resident. Applications are open now until the end of January. If you’re chosen, you’ll be contacted via email by February 2nd.
