Alec Baldwin Negotiating Release of Phone Records For “Rust” Warrant
Alec Baldwin attends the World Premiere of National Geographic Documentary Films' 'The First Wave' at Hamptons International Film Festival on October 07, 2021 in East Hampton, New York.
We have intensively been covering the “Rust” movie tragedy, and now we are learning that Alec Baldwin and his team are cooperating with a warrant for his records.
The Santa Fe Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney’s Office are “actively working” with the Suffolk County, New York Sheriff’s Department, and Baldwin’s lawyers to get any texts or other evidence related to the incident.
According to new details from Reuters, both New Mexico police and New York police are working together to negotiate the release of records. A Sante Fe detective says the iPhone search warrant came after she requested Baldwin voluntarily let her look at the phone and was told to get a warrant.
