GRAMMY Awards Likely To Be Postponed
It looks like your favorite artists are going to have to wait a little longer to find out if they win GRAMMY Awards this year. “Billboard” reports that the 64th annual GRAMMY Awards are likely to be postponed this year due to the increase in COVID cases due to the Omicron variant.
The show is currently scheduled for January 31st at the Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center), but will likely be delayed.
There’s no word on when the show will be rescheduled for, but if it happens it will be the second year in a row the show has been affected by COVID. Last year the GRAMMYs were supposed to take place January 31st but was rescheduled to March 14th and took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which allowed for less crowding.
