Good news Rock Hill! You've got a new distillery coming to the area. The Sleeping Giant Distillery will open in Rock Hill before the end of the year. Sleeping Giant will be the first legal distillery in the county since before prohibition. Which means it has been a long time coming. Southern Street in downtown Rock Hill will be home to the distillery. The building was home to cotton grading at the beginning of the 1900s. Sleeping Giant will feature handcrafted rum options including classic silver, a coffee rum, and a lemongrass and vanilla option.
The distillery will be open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays for tastings and tours with advanced reservations required.
