We are so excited to be back on the air for our 10th Annual Secret Santa! Last year we were able to raise over $85,000 and this year we hope to blow that number out of the water! Some of the exciting things we were able to support at Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital last year thanks to your donations were:
- A brand new, leading-edge magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suite with a custom under the sea theme
- Virtual reality goggles to help keep the kids entertained during a chemotherapy transfusion or distracted while they have a procedure
- Completion of the Blume Family Playground: an indoor-outdoor space that allows patients the chance to just be kids and play while they spend time at Hemby Children's Hospital
- Completion of the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Caroline's Corner: this is a private kitchen and living room space that provides access to some comfort and serenity to the patient's families. Laundry, showers, TV, and a place to cook are just some of the amenities available.
