If you spend any time around young kids, you probably know about “Bluey.” My son is OBSESSED with it! To the point it is the theme of his birthday this weekend!

It’s an animated Australian children’s show that little ones love and it’s a big hit on Disney here in the U.S. and according to the Daily Mail, an American dad recently discovered an episode of the show has been edited for U.S. audiences for a bizarre reason.

Michael the dad took to TikTok to reveal what he’d found. In a video, he shares that in the episode “Markets” from season one of “Bluey,” there’s a strange transition between two scenes. He says it’s very abrupt and “very odd” how it happens and asked other parents in the U.S. who watch the show if they’ve noticed it too, before explaining that the show had been edited.

“So it turns out it’s so weird because they cut a scene out of that episode that they’ll show in Australia, but Disney won’t show in the U.S.,” Michael says. So what’s so troubling in this cartoon that it can’t be shown in this country? A pony pooping right after Bluey pets it. In the full Australian version, Bluey and his friend run off afterward and call it “disgusting” as they giggle. As many of Michael’s followers point out, kids in the U.S. would have found that funny, too.
