Weekdays 10:00AM-3:00PM

Chili is one of my favorite Fall and Winter meals, and what better way to kick off chili season than with a Charlotte chili cookoff!

Some of Charlotte’s most notable restaurant owners, and amatuer chef’s will be competing to find out who has the superior chili this weekend.

Chef’s from some of Charlotte’s most popular restaurants will be competing including, Calle Sol,  Coltrane’s Char Grill,  , Dish,  The Giddy Goat,  The Grinning Mule,  Legion Brewing,  The Pizza Peel & Tap Room,  Q’s Culinary Cart,  Sweet Lew’s,  Workman’s Friend,  Zada Jane’s Corner Café, and more.

There will also be beverage stands and live music, too!

The Chili Cookoff will take place this Saturday, October 23rd from noon to 7pm, and the best part? The event is completely free to attend, and if you want to eat chili until you drop, you can purchase a $20 all-you-can-taste chili badge.

The event will be shutting off traffic, on Commonwealth and The Plaza. It will continue down Commonwealth to Gordon Street, as well as on Thomas Avenue.

I’m unfortunately going to be out of town this weekend, but if I were in town, you would definitely be seeing me at this event!
