A DEA agent is dead after a shooting on board an Amtrak train in Tucson, Arizona.

Tucson Police Chief Chris Magnus said to CBS News that agents were working with police on a routine search today for guns and drugs on the stopped train when a gunman opened fire. Magnus said another DEA agent is in critical condition and a police officer was hurt during the ensuing gun battle.

Magnus said the suspected gunman is dead and another suspect has been detained. The 137 passengers and 11 crew members were unharmed. The train runs from Los Angeles to New Orleans.
