Imagine going about your day when suddenly your house starts to shake so much that the windows rattle.

A neighborhood in Phoenix is dealing with that…. except it keeps repeating. According to AZ Family, City officials now are investigating the claims of shaking homes in the northwest neighborhood. Recorded videos have apparently shown homes in the Adobe Highlands area vibrating for several minutes at a time.

Nearby residents claim they have felt the shaking for years, but it has recently gotten stronger. City officials say no strange activity has occurred at the old Skunk Creek landfill across from the neighborhood, dismissing gas leaks as a possible cause.

They’ve now called in a consultant to figure out what’s going on.
