The Francene Marie Show

Saturday 6:00am-7:00am

With the current pandemic (COVID19) keeping us from doing the things that we would normally do in our day-to-day lives, I have spent a lot of time channel surfing watching things that I wouldn’t normally watch, and I have watched tons of movies. In my search, I have come across a few movie apps that I like to watch but there is this one that I have grown to love. That app is PureFlix, I would describe it as good, clean feel-good entertainment! If you like faith-based movies, this is the app for you. Check out some of these great movie ideas for your next movie or just when you need a pick-me-up type of day.

“What If” is a movie that inspires you to find and follow your true calling in life. Starring Kevin Sorbo, John Ratzenberger, Kristy Swanson, and Debby Ryan. I really enjoyed this movie!

‘Discarded Things’ is about a woman who tragically loses her husband and turns to prescription pills to help her cope. She then takes a job counseling young adults which helps her on her journey. This movie stars the awesomely talented Karen Abercrombie.

‘Lucy Shimmers and the ‘Prince of Peace’ get your tissues ready because this one is sure to bring on the tears! Lucy Shimmers is a little girl who interacts with lots of people in the hospital when she falls ill. She touches each one in different ways and it is so heartwarming. I would so watch the movie again and again!

What I have come to realize and understand during this pandemic is that we can sit around and be down because of our current circumstances or we can just pick ourselves up and make conscious efforts and decisions to make ourselves feel better. Wake up happy on purpose, wake up, and be thankful for waking up to see another day.
