Most people would probably think it's your toilet or maybe your sink, but no! They say it's actually the towel rack because of what you put on them. NewsNationNow says damp towels are the perfect environment for growing bacteria and other harmful microorganisms.
The towel rack and the bathroom radiator were found to be the two filthiest places in the bathroom because they attract dust, grime, and mold. Scientists working on the study suggest cleaning your bathroom radiator and towel racks at least three times a month. If not cleaned properly, this can cause irritated skin (with towel use) or even illness.
