Woman Taken Into Custody After Firing High Powered Rifle Near Epicentre

Uptown Charlotte was filled with semi chaos and closed roads early this morning around 8 am. I'm sure this not only disrupted the morning drive a lot, but it may also have made a few late for work. The reason? Well, a woman caused some big commotion having a firearm on hand.

Early this morning, a woman allegedly was carrying what was describe as a high-powered rifle under a blanket. She was at the Charlotte Epicentre. She was initially approached and offered assistance not knowing she was carrying a rifle. Listen to this eyewitness account.

Hearing the eyewitness account was scary, so I'm sure living it was even scarier. Shortly after authorities were called, streets surrounding the area were locked down, and eventually, the woman was taken into custody.
