The stars of Amazon’s upcoming Cinderella remake are getting roasted on social media after they reportedly stopped traffic in Los Angeles for a flash mob in an apparent effort to promote the film.

The film, due out this weekend (September 3) will mark singer Camila Cabello’s acting debut as she takes on the fairy tale princess who defies her evil stepsisters and engages in some hijinks involving a ball, a slipper and magic. However, the viral marketing campaign for the movie turned out to cause negative feedback.

James Corden, Billy Porter, Idina Menzel and Cabello were recorded closing out an intersection in Los Angeles as they and a handful of backup dancers sang along and danced to Jennifer Lopez’s "Let’s Get Loud."

In a video posted by one of the cars that were stopped for the event, the group of stars can be seen jumping for joy and singing in costumes. Corden was dressed as a mouse and at one point goes up to the driver’s side window and disturbingly thrusts his pelvis as he sings the chorus of the song.

"Imagine having a terrible day and then on ur way home ur forced to watch camila cabello and james corden dance right in front of u..this would sent me over the edge," wrote one relatable Twitter user.

Another person joked, "If james corden or camila cabello were dancing around my car," with a clip of a drifting car hitting a person.

One user hilariously posted a backward video with the caption, "'james corden & camila cabello are down the street."

The viral promotion for the film was for a bit called "Crosswalk the Musical Concert" that will appear on Corden’s Late Late Show.
