Dog Owner Gets Creepy Text After Stranger Gets Number From Dog Collar
According to Reddit, a person was out walking their dog and later got a strange message from someone they’d encountered. The dog owner posted the “next level creepy text” they received from a stranger who admitted they got the phone number off their dog’s collar.
They followed that up by thanking the dog owner for letting them pet the pooch, but then quickly moved on to asking the dog owner out. “We should hang out,” they wrote. And while that’s innocent enough, when the dog owner didn’t reply, things took an ugly turn. The stranger followed up with “Hello?” and then “Why do you even have your number on her collar if you don’t want people to text you? What the f**k? Such a tease!”
So yeah, creepy message indeed and Redditors were outraged over it. “This is a huge deal,” one user warns. “Some men will memorize your address and phone number.” Another suggests, “If you’re getting bad vibes or they’re looking at your dog’s collar for a bit too long, you need to leave.”
